Job: Commercial Retail Construction Superintendent

IMMEDIATE NEED – COMMERCIAL RETAIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT for a 12-14 week project!!!

We are seeking a Commercial Retail Construction Superintendent for a position to oversee a new commercial ground-up job site in St. Charles, Missouri. The Superintendent will be accountable for providing direction and oversight of work performed by subcontractors, vendors, and any other on-site workers. Position also requires collaboration with clients and job site employees to maintain job site safety, construct ability, and performance according to the established schedule and project plan.

WHAT DOES THIS JOB ENTAIL?

– Lead in the management, coordination and inspection of contractor work

– Manage supplies, materials, logistics and staying within budget

– Oversight of day to day duties, scheduling and coordinations of subs

– Maintain daily, weekly project team meetings.  Onsite meetings to resolve issues

– Supervise the completion of punch list/warranty items

– Compile and deliver daily project reports and procurment logs to Director of OPs

Our qualified experienced Superintendants will have the following skills:

– 6 years commercial retail construction superintendent experience

– Exp. in fast paced construction environment

– Exp. in commercial “ground-up” projects

– Walmart SPWWW Cerrtification

–  Carpentry background preferred but not required

– Demonstrated ability to  “drive the schedule” and bring a quality project in on-time and under budget

– Motivated and a good motivator

– Problem solver

– OSHA 10 minimum OSH 30 preferred

– Good computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office

– Procore and/or Rayken Software experience preferred

– Carpentry background preferred

– Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
