Job: RETAIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT 802M

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
WANTED – 2 COMMERCIAL RETAIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENTS FOR a 14-WEEK BESTBUY RENOVATION PROJECT!!! Start date is 6/6/22. Day shift and Night shift available

The Superintendent will be accountable for providing direction and oversight of work performed by subcontractors, vendors, and any other on-site workers. Position also requires collaboration with clients and job site employees to maintain job site safety, constructability, and performance according to the established schedule and project plan. Retail space to remain open throughout project and work is to be performed both day and night until completion

WHAT DOES THIS JOB ENTAIL?
– Lead in the management, coordination, and inspection of contractor work
– Manage supplies, materials, logistics and staying within budget
– Oversight of day-to-day duties, scheduling, and coordination of subs
– Maintain daily, weekly project team meetings. Onsite meetings to resolve issues
– Supervise the completion of punch list/warranty items
– Compile and deliver daily project reports and procurement logs to Director of OPs

IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
Our qualified experienced Superintendents will have the following skills:
– 5 years commercial retail construction superintendent experience
– Exp. in fast paced construction environment
– Carpentry experience preferred
– Demonstrated ability to “drive the schedule” and bring a quality project in on-time and under budget
– Motivated and a good motivator
– Problem solver
– Must have your own laptop/tablet for project reporting
– OSHA 10 minimum OSHA 30 preferred
– Good computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
– Procore and/or Rayken Software experience preferred
– Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
