| Job Information | Tube Welders $30/hr, $140/day per diem Travel in $.40/mile up to 750 miles OT after 8 hours a day, weekend work is OT 7-12’s for approx 7 days Days and Nights WHAT DOES THIS JOB ENTAIL? Must pass weld test 2-3/4″ OD X 5/8″ wall test coupon in 6G TIG portion of test will be in a simulator at 6G to simulate a boiler water wall with 2-3 passes applied. ER 70S 2 wire. Stick portion of the test will be out of the simulator in 6G with E7018 A1. All test coupons shall be flush on inside diameter as a minimum, no suck back and 1/8″ max root reinforcement. All test coupon maximum cap reinforcement on OD is 5/32″ Test coupons show complete joint penetration with complete fusion of weld& base metal. No visible porosity.
