Job Information

Currently seeking a Industrial Project Manager for our mid-Atlantic Region based in Charlotte, North Carolina  This position reports to the Senior Management/Owners and will spear head new industrial construction, capital improvement, and industrial maintenance projects in the petrochemical, oil & gas, power, utilities, pulp & paper and pharmaceutical arenas.

WHAT DOES THIS JOB ENTAIL?

  • Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policy & expectations
  • Prepare budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and timelines
  • Present contract and technical matters in a clear & intelligible manner to all invested parties
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and within budget parameters
  • Leads project delivery resources/team providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals
  • Evaluate the project plans and conditions to implement action items, develop risk mitigation plans, and contingency strategies on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings initiatives and potential project risks
  • Foster accountability of safety protocols by the project staff; investigates potentially serious situations and implements corrective measures.
  • Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interests and maintains good relationships with client
  • Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors

•  Adaptability to address delays, emergencies, or other issues through a proactive approach and a results’ driven focus

IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?

  • Certificate or relevant degree in Construction

5+ years’ experience.

  • Highly organized and a strong leader
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
  • Confidence & empathy to interact with all invested parties – client, subcontractors, trades, etc.
  • Well-versed in all industrial construction methodologies and procedures

–  Advance knowledge of financial terms & principals.
