Structural Welder

The metal fabricator interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate metal fabrication process. They fabricates metal roofing components and adjusts prefabricated metal roofing components to ensure proper fit. Inspects completed Works with and without complete engineering drawings as necessary.

Always follow safety on the job protocols & requirements.
Fabricate metal roofing components and profiles required for flat roofing and field metal roofing, wall panels & edge metal assemblies.
Install metal fabrication on roofing projects.
• Maintain housekeeping in the fabrication area & equipment.

Who you are:

Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication machines and tools. (Metal-shears, brakes, NC forming folders)
Familiarity with blueprints
Familiarity with Architectural Metal systems, metal wall panels, commercial roofing edge metal and metal roofing systems

What you’ll need:

1 year or more of metal fabrication or 1 year installing custom sheet metal parts/systems (preferably roofing)
High School or GED equivalent
Driver license required
Detail-oriented — would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture
Autonomous/Independent — enjoys working with little direction
• Adaptable/flexible — enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction

FITTER/FABRICATORS NEEDED – MULTIPLE OPENINGS – LOCAL WORK!!!

Welders will be working in a shop that assembles and fabricates parts from scratch. From metal canopies, conveyors, maintenance platforms with handrails, ductwork to intricately detailed gears and other parts.

WHAT DOES THIS JOB ENTAIL?
Skills Required:
– TIG, MIG, or ARC Welding (At least 3 years of experience)
– Experience fabricating, laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring, and welding metals to create the desired shape or object
– Forklift and/or crane operating experience
– Mechanically inclined
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints
– Knowledge of industry safe welding practices
– Positive Work Ethic, Safety minded, and Reliable Attendance
– Reliable Transportation (Car/Driver’s License – All Current)
